Chapter 16, Part B

Up and away, it's Chapter 16 Part B! Posted. Read at your leisure.
I've pretty much decided that I'll be doing the short story rather than the novel; "Stars on the Ground" rather than The Library. Library needs so much more work than I can do in three weeks, it's just insane. Whereas "Stars" I can probably handle. I know you'll all like it, anyway. :)
Chapter 16, Part A...and stuff

So by now you'll have notied that I got up Chapter 16 Part A late. I'll level with you all: it's really depressing to have a website like this, where I put my work out for everyone to read, and get no hits. According to my stats, most of the hits I get are accidental from people Googling other things. I didn't expect a lot of noteriety with this site, but I expected...something. Anyway, I won't let this happen again. If tiny webcomics out there can post thier stuff to the wide universe and not cut thier wrists over low- to no-hits, so can I. Enjoy the chapter.

Chapter 15 and updates

I've posted Chapter 15 - it's beautiful and ready to go. I think this is my second most favorite chapter, followed by Chapter 16. This is where it really gets good! Also, special thanks to my friend Jeremy, who should rightfully be credited as Chapter 15's father. Seriously - this chapter wouldn't exist without him, much the same way the book cover wouldn't exist without him. He is awesome.
I began re-reading the newest draft of the The Library today, and I find a lot of issues with plot fixed (though still a few small holes to handle), but now I'm finding a lot of issues with writing quality, voice, metaphor...All the things that are hard to fix. *sigh* So I still have my work cut out for me. I still have about a month to go before this thing needs to be jumping and running and kicking ass, though, so I'm hoping that's enough. It's looking more and more like I'll need to fill the void with that short story, "Stars on the Ground." At least it comes highly acclaimed by my good friend and fellow author, Justin. Hope everyone else likes it when it comes out. :)

Chapter 14 ready for your viewing pleasure. Sorry about the delay - I'm on vacation, and totally forgot the update.
Distance is coming along, though I doubt I'll be done with it before I need to get back on The Library. Wright Brothers is quickly drawing to a close, which means that you'll have a new novel to read soon. I'm actually not totally sure that I can get The Library out as quickly as I need to, so I may put up a short story called "Stars on the Ground" to fill the extra time.
Anyway, get reading!

After reading Distance twice, I've started writing on it again. It was hard to get started, but once I did get it rolling, it just came flowing out of me like a river. Beautiful! Ariel (the main character) is so talkative it's hard to shut her up! Almost 2200 words today, in about an hour and a half. When you consider that on my other novels I average about 1000 words an hour when I'm on fire, I think that gives you have a good idea how fast it was comning.
The Library has been sitting on the back-burner, simmering, for about a week now. Two more weeks to go before I start stirring again.
